GOD IS NOT LAZY: Why God Blesses Diligence, Not Idleness "The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it." — Proverbs 10:22 Many Christians, especially in Africa, have unknowingly developed a wrong picture of God. Some believe that simply attending church every week, praying all day, or sowing offerings will automatically make them wealthy—even if they refuse to work, learn a skill, or take opportunities. Others believe that God will magically provide a visa, a job, or financial breakthrough overnight without any personal effort. This mindset makes God appear as though He rewards laziness. But the Bible presents a completely different picture. God Does Not Encourage Laziness God is a God of miracles, but He is also a God of principles. Throughout Scripture, He consistently blesses people who are faithful, responsible, and hardworking. The Bible says: "The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labor....

x The Church Is Not a Building: Understanding the Biblical Meaning of the Church Introduction When many people hear the word church, they immediately think of a beautiful building, a religious institution, or a particular denomination. The Church, therefore, is not a physical structure but a gathering of people whom God has called out of the w...

Then He bowed His head and gave up His spirit." — John 19:30 (NKJV) What Does "It Is Finished" Mean? One of the most powerful statements Jesus ever made was His final declaration on the cross: "It is finished." The Greek word Jesus used is Tetelestai, which means "paid in full," "completed," or "accomplished." Jesus was not saying that His life was over—He was announcing that His mission to save humanity from sin had been completed. He had done everything necessary for our salvation. This is what Christians call the finished work of Christ. Why Did Jesus Have to Die? The Bible teaches that sin separates us from God. > "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." — Romans 3:23 Because God is holy, sin has a penalty. > "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift ...
